Weddings with Heart: Wedding, Commitment Ceremonies and Vow Renewals
Dr. Elizabeth Frumin established Weddings With Heart as a small group of officiates and clergy who offer ceremonies that meet your personal needs and desires at this special time. Dr. Frumin has been an award-winning service provider for many years, serving the Mid-Atlantic region as well as destination weddings.
We design and officiate services that reflect your orientation, beliefs and views toward love, life and marriage – making this time one of care and authenticity for you, your partner, family and community.
We gather information that will be used to write a ceremony specific for you. We individualize each ceremony rather than use a prescribed, or predetermined script. Once written, a draft of the ceremony is sent to you for your review. Your feedback is integrated and the ceremony is edited to your liking. This design is completed prior to the ceremony day, so there are no surprises with the content.
Our approach is to honor you and your feelings, with caring and with the intention of providing you with a beautiful rite of passage.
Similar conversations, meetings and processes occur in preparing for other pastoral services – pre-marital counseling, wedding vow renewals, funerals, baby blessings and baby naming ceremonies, adoption celebrations and other rituals.
If you are interested in learning more, please contact us. We will send you a brief questionnaire and additional information to get the process started.

Testimonials
Zach and I are finally getting the chance to sit down and write a more formal thank you to you after it’s been nearly a week (can you believe it!) since the big day.
We wanted you to know that literally EVERY guest came up to us at cocktail hour and had nothing but wonderful things to say about the entire ceremony—the flow, the personalization of the content, the fact that it was 18 minutes long ;) everything was absolutely perfect and we have you to thank for that. You genuinely cared for our well being throughout the process and made sure that our wedding message was a special one! When we return, I will certainly be writing positive reviews for you, so stay tuned on The Knot and Wedding Wire :)
I’m sorry that we were not able to touch base with you immediately after the ceremony. The flood of emotions really took hold and then the demands of mingling hit. But we cannot thank you enough for everything!! We hope we made your job easy as well :)
Thanks again and enjoy your weekend!!
Best,
Mr. & Mrs. Friedman ;)
"Elizabeth was terrific from start to finish, very accommodating given that my partner and I had planned our wedding only two months in advance. Very responsive, available and personable. Our ceremony was beautifully personalized and exceeded our expectations."

We are grateful for your compassion and expertise in creating a truly unique experience just for us, especially helping us out last minute. "I really liked working with Elizabeth. She has a tried and true method. She first gets to know both of the couple, constantly asks permission, makes suggestions, and no matter how busy you are she seems to accommodate. I like the fact that also no matter how busy I was there was always a little reminder about deadlines for items for the ceremony. When we reached our wedding day everything was laid out perfectly, everyone gathered around, and not one mistake. Everything flowed like a dream. Elizabeth was particularly understanding of almost all ways of life and religions."

"Elizabeth was a pleasure to work with throughout the wedding process. We met her at a tradeshow and got a good vibe right off the bat. She had an initial meeting with us to get to know us as a couple. She had plenty of documents for us to choose from to customize our ceremony and make it our own. She stayed in touch with us throughout the process and made sure we were prepared for the wedding day. On that day, she was very relatable, and for me as a bride eased my nerves. She added a little humor into the ceremony at times, which helped break up tension of the day. Additionally, she spoke loudly so everyone could hear her, which is a common complaint for me at many outside ceremonies. I would definitely recommend her and utilize her again for other services she offers."

"We were so fortunate to be able to work with Elizabeth Frumin for our August 2018 wedding. She is incredibly thoughtful and professional. She worked with us through every step of our vows with passion and guidance. Any questions that arose through the ceremony planning process and up to the wedding itself, she made herself available and coached us so well. She was a calming and warm presence on what can be a whirlwind of a day!"

"Elizabeth was extremely detailed & thorough throughout the whole process of writing our ceremony. She provided us with examples of vows and readings to choose from but was also flexible and really strived to make the ceremony what we wanted. She was very responsive whenever we had questions or concerns and sent us several drafts of the ceremony. Elizabeth really went above & beyond to not only write our ceremony, but also provided us with information about the marriage license process. We could tell in meeting with Elizabeth how much heart she puts into each individual ceremony. She was also very responsive and thorough. She handled little hiccups during the ceremony well that were out of her control. She was a pleasure to work with."

"Hello Elizabeth! I hope you are well: just checking in to say hello and that Matty and I are doing fine. We will be married for six years already this July!
My sister had a blessing for her 8-month old daughter yesterday with an interfaith minister from Lancaster, and it put me in mind of our wedding, as well as the service you performed for Matty's mother when she passed away a few years ago. I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate you for the work you do: your name has come up several times in conversations with my family for the caring and passion that you bring to your work, and the peacefulness you helped create in both the services you did for us. In fact, my father has said several times that the service for my mother in law was the nicest memorial service he had ever seen, and said something similar about our wedding being "exactly how a wedding should be." Thanks again, and I hope all is well in your world!"

"We are home safely from our honeymoon in paradise. I just wanted to send you a quick thank you. Our ceremony was so personal, and special. It was definitely the highlight of our day, for both of us. And everyone commented on how they loved it. So thank you, for the development of the ceremony, as well as the beautiful execution. Thank you again."
